Chalet Maroly is beautiful and in the perfect location – totally peaceful and quiet at the end of a small road yet still an easy 10 minute walk to the Praz Sur Arly ski lifts. The cross country track is right outside and it’s special sitting inside with the fire then you see the dog sleighs come by through the window.
The chalet is spacious, we just had 8 of the family but could comfortably have been several more! A wonderfully equipped kitchen. Most of all it is a real home – a warm and beautifully decorated classic Alps chalet. Great space for kids to play with a play room and many games on the top floor. And beautiful reading area tucked away for the adults. The owners have put so much effort into everything – the equipment of the kitchen, the availability of firewood, the toys and games, the bed linen – everything top quality.
Praz Sur Arly offers very good intermediate skiing across a huge ski area – but it is an easy 15 minute drive into Megeve one of the classic high-end ski destinations of France. Imagine it would be spectacular in summer also. We will love to be back.
